The 8th Annual Gulf Coast Energy Forum will take place October 14-16, 2026, in New Orleans, Louisiana, bringing together more than 400 anticipated energy industry decision makers to examine U.S. Gulf Coast natural gas and LNG export markets and evaluate near-term and longer-term transaction structures.
The U.S. Gulf Coast continues to play a major role in global liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports, while regional demand for natural gas for domestic use is also expected to grow. The forum will provide energy industry professionals with an opportunity to examine market conditions, develop strategies and discuss commercial opportunities.
Gulf Coast Energy Forum Examines Natural Gas and LNG Markets
The 8th Annual Gulf Coast Energy Forum is structured for natural gas and LNG industry professionals across the commercial value chain. Participants will examine market developments and commercial issues affecting the U.S. Gulf Coast natural gas and LNG markets.
This year's program addresses the industry's response to increased U.S. natural gas demand, particularly demand associated with liquefaction and LNG exports, natural gas-fired power generation, including demand from AI data centers, and domestic U.S. natural gas demand associated with economic growth and re-industrialization.
The agenda also addresses issues affecting U.S. Gulf Coast natural gas markets, including:

LNG Export Market and Commercial Value Chain
The forum will examine the LNG export commercial value chain, including production, feedgas access, midstream delivery capacity, storage, liquefaction terminal operations, shipping, global market requirements, trading and marketing.
The program will also evaluate LNG export terminal projects at various stages of development, forecast growth in U.S. LNG export capacity and the potential impact on the U.S. share of global LNG demand.
Additional topics include natural gas supply, demand and pricing; supply sufficiency; midstream infrastructure projects; end-use natural gas buyer perspectives; policy, regulatory and legal developments; and technology innovations.
